American Thinker: America’s Second Civil War Has Already Begun

I’ve been saying this for a long time, and I can find very little wrong with Mr. Gensert’s analysis.  Whether he knows it or not, he hit on the ONE key to heading off the civil war.

“…even should Trump win, without a complete reversal by the Democratic Party, a renewed free and fair media, and a return to the principles upon which this nation was founded, this war will continue…”

There it is.  REVERSE THE DEMOCRAT/LEFTIST AGENDA.

Sounds so simple, yet historically the Republican party has at best put the democrat agenda on hold when they are in power.  Credit where credit is due, the democrats FIGHT for what they want and believe, much more so than Republicans do.  Why do Republicans so often fail to take advantage of opportunities to roll back the democrat agenda?  There are many reasons, but for some it’s because they don’t want to put their seat at the table at risk.  Rather than do what’s right, they do what’s comfortable.

This is why Donald Trump is such a threat to BOTH parties.  Despite resistance from BOTH parties, he has managed to actually ROLL BACK parts of the anti-American democrat agenda rather than merely put it on hold.  But Donald Trump won’t be in office forever, and without many more actual CONSERVATIVES who will actually fight to roll back the democrat agenda, it will inexorably continue to roll forward in fits and starts toward the red line (pun intended) that most of America simply will not go beyond.  

When we reach that point, the already raging civil war will move from the yelling-and-name-calling phase to the shooting phase.

No sane person wants this to happen, but most intelligent people don’t see a way to avoid it.

America’s Second Civil War Has Already Begun

In an excellent article by Jeff Lukens here on American Thinker, he asks the question, “Is a second civil war coming?”  In reply, I say that America’s second civil war has already begun.  Its opening shots were fired by Barack Obama when he stated, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Most of this country is center-right and never considered America a place that needed transformation.  Most people can think of things they would change but few believe the nation needs to be torn down and rebuilt.  Obama failed but the left soldiers on in its quest for a new America remade in their own image.

When Obama went on his world apology tour, he wasn’t apologizing for America, he was apologizing for Americans.  This is the essence of this second civil war.  Leftists are demi-gods who believe they are America and that anyone who does not believe in them cannot lay legitimate claim to this country as their own.

Yes, this war has begun.  The opening skirmish was the Obama presidency itself, which history will see as a failure, despite what the media want us to believe in the here and now.  Sure, he passed ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, overregulated, and ruled by executive diktat to great media acclaim.  Yet, ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank have been whittled away by legislation and judicial rulings, while Trump has prioritized deregulation and reversed many of Obama’s illegal executive orders.

The war’s second battle was the 2016 presidential election when Hillary Clinton, Obama’s chosen successor, lost to a television personality whom very few took seriously as a candidate.  Trump won despite the Obama administration conspiring with the Clinton campaign to steal the election and has remained as president even as that conspiracy fundamentally transformed into a failed coup attempt to depose him.

Trump’s presidency has been the third battle and with his string of successes, the battle is being won.  This, despite near-universal acrimony and condemnation among the media, the Democrats, and the left.

But, “what difference, at this point, does it make?” because these victories are pyrrhic.  As the eminent Michael Walsh said of the left, “they never stop, they never sleep, they never quit.”  Democrats are chipping away at this nation with their policies.  This is a war of attrition and we Americans are being attrited.

For example, their “open borders” policy is effectively importing a new electorate — one guaranteed to vote for them.  The left agrees with Obama, there is nothing wrong with America, it’s those damn Americans, so they are going to drown the conservative vote with new Democrats.  It’s the same with their policy of “everything should be free.”  Why vote for someone who promises equal opportunity when someone else promises a better outcome?

Nuclear winter became global warming became climate change became “we want total control over everything.”  The reason why Democrat candidates for the presidency so quickly signed on to my congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal is its promise of comprehensive control over every aspect of our lives.  Eliminating planes, trains, and automobiles will keep us close to our homes and jobs or for those “unwilling to work” in their basement enjoying their “universal basic income.”  Dependent people without mobility are easier to control.

The 2020 election looms as the next battle and it will be hard fought because Democrats have myriad policies that may sound great but are really about control.  They have always been masters of micturating down our leg and telling us it is raining.

Yet, they don’t need to trick us into acquiescence, because even should Trump win, without a complete reversal by the Democratic Party, a renewed free and fair media, and a return to the principles upon which this nation was founded, this war will continue, and it is only a matter of time before the left again wins the Presidency, or the House, or the Senate — or all three.

When that happens, this civil war will become hot because the Democrats are going to come for our guns.  An armed citizenry is a free citizenry, and they can’t have that.

The third most populated nation with 330,000,000 people, America has an estimated 350 million guns in circulation; any effort to seize them will call for the total mobilization of our armed forces, city and state police, and the National Guard.

People are not going to turn in their guns and politicians who think they will do so are being naïve.  Fighting will surely ensue as the forces of the regime go door to door to try to take them.

Many of those empowered to confiscate weapons won’t obey orders.  Defections will be common and there will be fighting in the streets, limited at first, but it will soon break out into open rebellion.  The regime will become increasingly strident and many states will refuse to comply.  Using Democratic-run “sanctuary cities” as an example of state nullification of federal law, talk of secession will become rife.

The ruling leftists will, of course, be surprised, and orders will be given to the remaining loyalist forces to put down the rebellion.  In the end, the death toll will far exceed the 620,000 people who died in our first civil war.

To people who say it can’t happen here, I say history is replete with examples of places that no longer exist where people believed “it can’t happen here.” 

It can’t happen here?  Open your eyes, it has already begun.

Majority of Democrats Identify as Liberal for First Time

What is a democrat?  Someone too cowardly to admit they are a socialist or communist.

It today’s America, if you call yourself a democrat, you are consciously identifying with the party whose platform denies God, and none of the elements of the platform can be found in the Constitution which governs our nation.  If you hold up the Communist Manifesto and Ten Pillars of Communism next to the United States Constitution, the democrat platform will be found in its entirety in the Communist Manifesto and Ten Pillars of Communism.  Communism, socialism, and other totalitarian ideologies are antithetical to EVERYTHING America was founded on.

Thus, the democrat party is anti-American, and people who willingly call themselves democrats are anti-American.  Period.

Oh, and the day that liberal/progressive/socialist/communist democrats outnumber conservatives, or nationally outvote conservatives, is the day America ends.

Since when has a democrat been concerned that the Constitution supposedly limits their power to infringe on our rights?  It hasn’t been in the last 20 years at least.  They do it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY, without any remorse whatsoever.

Google Approves App For Muslims To Report People Who Commit Blasphemy

No, this is not a joke. The app, “Smart Pakem”, which launched in Indonesia last month at the request of the Indonesian government, will allow users and government officials to uphold Sharia law and target and report people who hold “misguided” beliefs in violation of Islamic law, which forbids insults of Islam, insults against the Prophet Mohammed, or the recognition of any other religion besides Islam.

So much to unpack here.  Let’s start a list.

• Low Hanging Fruit:  Google isn’t putting any energy into developing an app to report blasphemy against Christ and the Holy Spirit.  Just sayin’…
• Islam isn’t a religion, but an oppressive system of government hiding behind a thin veneer of religion.
• Like every other oppressive system of government, islam can’t/won’t tolerate anyone looking behind the curtain of truth, and can’t/won’t tolerate dissent.  Allowing transparency, allowing differing opinions, allowing open debate, and allowing FREE SPEECH in a totalitarian system leads to people figuring out the TRUTH, which leads to the oppressive leaders in their cushy positions of power being overthrown.  Mullahs, czars, dictators, etc. thrive on power and won’t give it up willingly.
• Islam is incompatible with America and our Constitution.
  • A “right” is something to which one is entitled that by definition does not take away from another’s rights.
    • Example:  A RIGHT to free speech.  You can say anything you want, even if it’s offensive, as long as it doesn’t cross a line of slander/defamation.  That would unjustly take away from someone’s reputation.
    • Example:  You have a right to swing your fist anywhere you want as long as it doesn’t hit me, or my possessions, which would take away from my physical well being, and deprive me of my property without due process.
  • Islam will not tolerate any other religion or form of government, and seeks to replace it with islam, which would take away all of our constitutional rights.
  • Islam instructs its followers to murder of non-muslims.
  • Our 1st Amendment protects the freedom of religion AS LONG AS THE EXERCISE OF THAT RELIGION DOESN’T DEPRIVE ANOTHER OF THEIR RIGHTS.
  • Since islamic law forbids free speech, prevents the free exercise of religions OTHER THAN ISLAM, and tells followers to murder non-believers and take their possessions, islam is NOT protected under the 1st Amendment of our Constitution.
• Thus, islam IS NOT PROTECTED BY OUR CONSTITUTION, should be banned in America, anyone who claims islam as their “religion” should be deported, and all mosques razed to the ground.

None of the cowards in our government have the courage to make this obviously constitutional argument, which is why without a civil war to restore the Constitution, it and our nation will eventually be overthrown by islam or some other cancerous ideology that no one has the courage to stop the spread of.

Obama Promises To Break Judge’s Amnesty Injunction – REMOVE AND ARREST HIM NOW

Obama is so far beyond the need for impeachment that you can’t even see the top of the list of impeachable offenses from here. He has violated a long list of court orders and decisions, failed to enforce laws he is sworn to enforce, created “laws” which he has no authority to create, selectively enforced laws against his opponents violating the equal protections clause AND his job description in Article 2, and he has given aid and comfort to the enemies of America. This tyrant must be REMOVED. Attach whatever word or description to that concept that you wish. Congress won’t impeach and arrest him, so either the military must honor their oath to support and defend the Constitution by removing him, or the people are going to have to do the job. Either way, it must be done. It is the first and most important step to saving America.

Time to Take Out the Garbage

• He has broken the law on numerous occasions without so much as a peep from congress.
  • War Powers Act
  • Immigration Laws
• He lied to sell the unconstitutional Obamacare, and continues to lie about its failed implementation.
• He has violated the constitutional separation of powers by unilaterally changing the Obamacare law dozens of times without the involvement of congress to appease his supporters.
• He seeks daily to take away or 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms while at the same time GIVING guns and money to terrorists and drug cartels. TREASON.
• He seeks and supports ways to limit or take away 1st Amendment rights, among many others.
• He supports our enemies while alienating, offending, and abandoning our allies.
  • Israel is the prime example of a snubbed ally.
  • Iran is the prime example of an enabled enemy.

Barack Obama/Barry Soetoro is demonstrably the most anti-American, and most incompetent president in America’s history.  Much of his past which would prove his legitimacy is sealed, and most of what hasn’t been sealed has been arguably manufactured.

Barack Obama/Barry Soetoro has gotten away with much more than previous presidents were impeached for without so much as a peep from congress.

Barack Obama/Barry Soetoro must be removed from office.  If congress will not act, then we must.  If congress will not act, then we must remove them as well.  We have seen to much of our nation destroyed, and too many of our freedoms lost to allow this to continue.

It is time.

Obama administration ends post-9/11 restrictions on Saudis entering U.S.

This is NOT in America’s best interest. You may remember that most of the 9/11 attackers were Saudis, and that the schools and education system that indoctrinated them are not only still in place, but flourishing. The Saudi royal family is playing both ends against the middle by talking nice to us while letting the wahabbis do whatever they please. The royals know that if they resist the radical cancer consuming their country, they will be eaten by it. Thus their self preservation instinct causes them to be a front group for what amounts to state sponsored terrorism. But our government won’t touch the truth about the Saudis with a ten foot pole.

Obama administration ends post-9/11 restrictions on Saudis entering U.S.

ABU DHABI — The United States, a decade after Al Qaida strikes in New York and Washington, has opened its doors to Saudi nationals.

Diplomats said the administration of President Barack Obama has removed most restrictions on the entry of Saudis to the United States. They said the percentage of visa approvals for Saudis has reached unprecedented levels.

 “The United States aims to raise the number of visas that it issues annually, particularly to Saudi nationals, who represent an important group,” Joseph Hood, U.S. consul-general in the Saudi city of Dhahran, said.

Hood cited economic reasons for the easing of restrictions on Saudis. He said Saudi businessmen and students have been allowed to enter the United States in record numbers, with a 60 percent increase since 2010.

Liberal Media Bias PROVEN.

This is what I’ve been saying all along.

The media formerly known as “mainstream” is nothing more than the public relations arm of the democrat party.  The institution of journalism has been infiltrated and corrupted by the political left, as was a stated goal of communism.  The outlets that once were trusted outlets for independent journalism are now nothing more than gathering places for leftist ideologues.

Fox may not be perfect, but it hasn’t been proven that they’ve done anything like this.  So you libs out there that love to bash Fox can zip it until you come up with some PROOF.  You want to bash Hannity and Beck?  You can say you don’t like them all you want.  But if you’re going to call them liars and racists, CITE SPECIFIC EXAMPLES AND PROVE THEM WRONG.  If they are lying, I don’t want to watch them either, but thus far they have proven much more credible than any of your PR servants on the left.

There’s a reason that Fox News has higher ratings than all of the other news networks COMBINED.  The American people are tired of being lied to.

Documents show media plotting to kill stories about Rev. Jeremiah Wright

It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign.

The crisis reached a howling pitch in mid-April, 2008, at an ABC News debate moderated by Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos. Gibson asked Obama why it had taken him so long – nearly a year since Wright’s remarks became public – to dissociate himself from them. Stephanopoulos asked, “Do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you do?”

Watching this all at home were members of Journolist, a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists. The tough questioning from the ABC anchors left many of them outraged. “George [Stephanopoulos],” fumed Richard Kim of the Nation, is “being a disgusting little rat snake.”

Others went further. According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

Michael Tomasky, a writer for the Guardian, also tried to rally his fellow members of Journolist: “Listen folks–in my opinion, we all have to do what we can to kill ABC and this idiocy in whatever venues we have. This isn’t about defending Obama. This is about how the [mainstream media] kills any chance of discourse that actually serves the people.”

“Richard Kim got this right above: ‘a horrible glimpse of general election press strategy.’ He’s dead on,” Tomasky continued. “We need to throw chairs now, try as hard as we can to get the call next time. Otherwise the questions in October will be exactly like this. This is just a disease.”

(In an interview Monday, Tomasky defended his position, calling the ABC debate an example of shoddy journalism.)

Thomas Schaller, a columnist for the Baltimore Sun as well as a political science professor, upped the ante from there. In a post with the subject header, “why don’t we use the power of this list to do something about the debate?” Schaller proposed coordinating a “smart statement expressing disgust” at the questions Gibson and Stephanopoulos had posed to Obama.

“It would create quite a stir, I bet, and be a warning against future behavior of the sort,” Schaller wrote.

Tomasky approved. “YES. A thousand times yes,” he exclaimed.

The members began collaborating on their open letter. Jonathan Stein of Mother Jones rejected an early draft, saying, “I’d say too short. In my opinion, it doesn’t go far enough in highlighting the inanity of some of [Gibson’s] and [Stephanopoulos’s] questions. And it doesn’t point out their factual inaccuracies …Our friends at Media Matters probably have tons of experience with this sort of thing, if we want their input.”

Jared Bernstein, who would go on to be Vice President Joe Biden’s top economist when Obama took office, helped, too. The letter should be “Short, punchy and solely focused on vapidity of gotcha,” Bernstein wrote.

In the midst of this collaborative enterprise, Holly Yeager, now of the Columbia Journalism Review, dropped into the conversation to say “be sure to read” a column in that day’s Washington Post that attacked the debate.

Columnist Joe Conason weighed in with suggestions. So did Slate contributor David Greenberg, and David Roberts of the website Grist. Todd Gitlin, a professor of journalism at Columbia University, helped too.

Journolist members signed the statement and released it April 18, calling the debate “a revolting descent into tabloid journalism and a gross disservice to Americans concerned about the great issues facing the nation and the world.”

The letter caused a brief splash and won the attention of the New York Times. But only a week later, Obama – and the journalists who were helping him – were on the defensive once again.

Jeremiah Wright was back in the news after making a series of media appearances. At the National Press Club, Wright claimed Obama had only repudiated his beliefs for “political reasons.” Wright also reiterated his charge that the U.S. federal government had created AIDS as a means of committing genocide against African Americans.

It was another crisis, and members of Journolist again rose to help Obama.

Chris Hayes of the Nation posted on April 29, 2008, urging his colleagues to ignore Wright. Hayes directed his message to “particularly those in the ostensible mainstream media” who were members of the list.

The Wright controversy, Hayes argued, was not about Wright at all. Instead, “It has everything to do with the attempts of the right to maintain control of the country.”

Hayes castigated his fellow liberals for criticizing Wright. “All this hand wringing about just
how awful and odious Rev. Wright remarks are just keeps the hustle going.”

“Our country disappears people. It tortures people. It has the blood of as many as one million Iraqi civilians — men, women, children, the infirmed — on its hands. You’ll forgive me if I just can’t quite dredge up the requisite amount of outrage over Barack Obama’s pastor,” Hayes wrote.

Hayes urged his colleagues – especially the straight news reporters who were charged with covering the campaign in a neutral way – to bury the Wright scandal. “I’m not saying we should all rush en masse to defend Wright. If you don’t think he’s worthy of defense, don’t defend him! What I’m saying is that there is no earthly reason to use our various platforms to discuss what about Wright we find objectionable,” Hayes said.

(Reached by phone Monday, Hayes argued his words then fell on deaf ears. “I can say ‘hey I don’t think you guys should cover this,’ but no one listened to me.”)

Katha Pollitt – Hayes’s colleague at the Nation – didn’t disagree on principle, though she did sound weary of the propaganda. “I hear you. but I am really tired of defending the indefensible. The people who attacked Clinton on Monica were prissy and ridiculous, but let me tell you it was no fun, as a feminist and a woman, waving aside as politically irrelevant and part of the vast rightwing conspiracy Paula, Monica, Kathleen, Juanita,” Pollitt said.

“Part of me doesn’t like this shit either,” agreed Spencer Ackerman, then of the Washington Independent. “But what I like less is being governed by racists and warmongers and criminals.”

Ackerman went on:

I do not endorse a Popular Front, nor do I think you need to. It’s not necessary to jump to Wright-qua-Wright’s defense. What is necessary is to raise the cost on the right of going after the left. In other words, find a rightwinger’s [sic] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear. Obviously I mean this rhetorically.

And I think this threads the needle. If the right forces us all to either defend Wright or tear him down, no matter what we choose, we lose the game they’ve put upon us. Instead, take one of them — Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists. Ask: why do they have such a deep-seated problem with a black politician who unites the country? What lurks behind those problems? This makes *them* sputter with rage, which in turn leads to overreaction and self-destruction.

Ackerman did allow there were some Republicans who weren’t racists. “We’ll know who doesn’t deserve this treatment — Ross Douthat, for instance — but the others need to get it.” He also said he had begun to implement his plan. “I previewed it a bit on my blog last week after Commentary wildly distorted a comment Joe Cirincione made to make him appear like (what else) an antisemite. So I said: why is it that so many on the right have such a problem with the first viable prospective African-American president?”

Several members of the list disagreed with Ackerman – but only on strategic grounds.

“Spencer, you’re wrong,” wrote Mark Schmitt, now an editor at the American Prospect. “Calling Fred Barnes a racist doesn’t further the argument, and not just because Juan Williams is his new black friend, but because that makes it all about character. The goal is to get to the point where you can contrast some _thing_ — Obama’s substantive agenda — with this crap.”

(In an interview Monday, Schmitt declined to say whether he thought Ackerman’s plan was wrong. “That is not a question I’m going to answer,” he said.)

Kevin Drum, then of Washington Monthly, also disagreed with Ackerman’s strategy. “I think it’s worth keeping in mind that Obama is trying (or says he’s trying) to run a campaign that avoids precisely the kind of thing Spencer is talking about, and turning this into a gutter brawl would probably hurt the Obama brand pretty strongly. After all, why vote for him if it turns out he’s not going change the way politics works?”

But it was Ackerman who had the last word. “Kevin, I’m not saying OBAMA should do this. I’m saying WE should do this.”

Obama Doesn’t Want America to be a Super Power

Here’s another spoonful of sand on the mountain of evidence that Obama hates America and everything she stands for.

Obama and the progressives are hell-bent on destroying everything Americans have worked for over 200 years to build. Freedom, liberty, wealth, and prosperity are about to be destroyed in America unless he is stopped.

As I’ve said before, Obama may not be THE anti-Christ, but he sure as heck is at the very least a false prophet.

Obama: “Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower”

I know how many of you just hate the fact that the United States is a dominant military superpower in the world. But don’t worry. Obama is our president now, and he’s here to change all that. Unfortunately, for the time being, we have to reconcile ourselves to this: that, like it or not we remain a dominant military superpower.

In all seriousness now, this is a disturbing way of phrasing this. This statement was made at the closing of his Nuclear Security Summit. It’s a nice coincidence, considering he’s doing his best to weaken us with his new policy on nuclear weapons.

And I guess this video explains why he would enact such an awful policy. Apparently, there are just tons of people — Obama included — who can’t stand the fact that we are a dominant military superpower in the world.

Now, Obama may have been simply referring to the fact that we get dragged into world conflicts. As a world superpower, that is true. But as I recall, we are supposed to be a force for good in the world. Part of being a force for good in the world means that, occasionally, we have to be the “world’s police”.  (This part I don’t necessarily agree with.  As a “force for good,” we don’t have to be “world police.”  We establish relations with nations, possibly station forces their, and defend our interests and allies.  It’s pretty much that simple.  The more people who are our LEGITIMATE allies, not just money leeches, and the stronger we are to deter aggression, the more stable the world becomes, and the less we are called upon to “walk a beat.”) Let’s think about WWII and Germany. If Obama was president then, would he have bothered fighting the Nazis? Or would he have just let them continue their evil reign throughout Europe, murdering millions along the way? Yeah, sure, it’s easy to say now, in retrospect, that of course he would have helped to liberate Europe and destroy the Nazis. But remember his position on preventing genocide during the campaign? Specifically, he said that preventing genocide in Iraq was not a good enough reason to keep our troops there. Why should we believe he’d have wanted to stop Hitler if he wouldn’t have had a problem letting Hussein continue his tyranny and terrorization of Iraq? The point is, being a superpower in the world is a good thing. There will always be a superpower in the world, and if it isn’t us, who would it be? China? Russia? During FDR’s term as president, we weren’t a superpower, and look at what happened. Germany and Japan took our place, and look what that led to. England was bombed relentlessly for years. Major countries in Europe were invaded and taken over, like France and Poland. Japan joined with the Axis Powers and invaded China and French Indochina. Had we been a stronger superpower in the word at the time, we might have been able to prevent these countries from coming to power. The lives of millions and millions of innocent people could have been saved.

The point is, we are needed in the world to be a superpower, and to use our military power as a force for good in the world. The United States is a rare country in this. We may have to act as the world’s police occasionally, but we never act for our own gain. If we fail to be that force for good in the world, it will open the door to another situation similar to what enabled WWII to be possible. If we’re not the superpower, then we can’t keep countries like Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea in check. Al Qaeda will be able to unleash their terror on the world with literally no one to stop them. Who will step up against them if we won’t? Canada? England? France? Yeah, right.

The scary thing is that our Commander-in-Chief can’t see this. He looks at our military dominance, and our role in the world as a force for good, and thinks it’s a bad thing.

It WAS A Republic…

It’s our fault, America. We let our republic slip away. We let socialist politicians calling themselves both republicans and democrats lead us into this wilderness while we blindly followed. While it’s nice that the republicans appear to be listening at the moment, the fact still remains that they are all politicians, and many of them played the political game that compromised away our constitution to the progressive/socialists on the left who have TOTALLY taken over the democrat party.

We are seeing a great deal of unrest in America today from both conservatives and liberals. From the conservatives because our liberty is being destroyed, and from the left because it isn’t being destroyed fast enough. For you dimwits who voted for our undocumented president, what did you think would happen? He told you in no uncertain terms what he was going to do, and EXACTLY what kind of “hope and change” he was going to give you. Why didn’t you listen? Now as many of you wake up to the reality that the republic we once new is lying on the ground, quickly bleeding to death with both legs and one arm severed, you say in your uneducated ignorance “…I had no idea this would happen.” If you have any desire to save this nation from the ash heap of history, join us now or get your anus out of the way.

We have a chance to start over in the house, and make a down payment on our future in the senate. We have a chance to throw out EVERY member of the house in November and replace them with someone who will respect and obey our constitution. We have the chance to do the same with 1/3 of the senate. If the future of this nation is important to you, then you will do everything within your power to help make sure this happens.

It Was A Republic, But We Couldn’t Keep It

Will it never end?

Will the daily, relentless assault on our freedoms by the current socialist-in-chief, President Barack Obama, and the socialist Democrat-controlled Congress never end? (Not until they are gone.)

Will the constant pounding and pounding on the Constitution by Obama and Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the socialist elite elected class—as they work to not just chip away at our nation’s foundation as progressives before them, but to obliterate it completely—never end?  (Not until we get rid of them.)

Will the takeover of business and industry never end?  (Not until we make them stop.)

Will the calls for a cap-and-trade system that will raise taxes and energy costs and further erode out economic well-being never end?  (Not until we stop it.)

Will the push for amnesty for illegal aliens never end?  (Not until they are afraid enough of us to quit pushing it.)

Will the spending and the money printing and currency debasement never end?  (When the economy collapses and the revolution begins.)

Will the hubris of the elected class never end?  (Only when we the people end it for them.)

Apparently not.

Day by day; week by week; month by month the socialist Democrats pounded away at so-called healthcare reform. In office for 14 months, the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate worked to enact a socialist, European-style big government healthcare system on America.

The American people didn’t want what Obama, Reid and Pelosi were peddling. By 59 percent to 39 percent (by up to 80% against it in many polls), according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research poll, Americans opposed Obamacare.

And they said so over and over. They said “no” to the secrecy of the bills, which were crafted in smoke-filled rooms, behind closed doors and foisted upon the public at the moment of the vote. They said “no” to the cost which kept growing and growing with each incarnation. They said “no” to the Louisiana Purchase (to get Mary Landrieu’s vote), the Cornhusker Kickback (to garner Ben Nelson’s support) and to the Gator Aid (to secure the support of senior citizens).  (Not just “no,” but “H*** NO!”)

They said “no” by marching on Washington D.C., by the tens of thousands. They said “no” through the Tea Parties. They said so through calls and letters. They said “no” at town hall meetings. They said “no,” “no,” “No,” “NO!”

They said “no” at the voting booth in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Yet the socialist Democrats passed it anyway.

So the people ask, “What part of no don’t you understand?”

Know this: Pelosi, Reid and Obama—they understand. They just don’t care. It’s the progressive way.

Responding to questions about the special favors garnered by recalcitrant Senators in order to enlist their support, Reid replied with something to the effect of: That’s the legislative process. If a Senator didn’t get something he wasn’t doing his job.

Hey. It’s only money, and printing it is cheap.  (OPM, Other People’s Money.)

As Pelosi responded when asked where Congress gets the authority to mandate United States citizens purchase health insurance: “Are you serious?”

Well, yes Madame Speaker, Constitutional issues are serious business to us. They should be to you. But they’re not. That’s because the Constitution limits their power over the citizenry and power is what the socialist elected elites seek.

If the Constitution was important to the socialist elite there would have been an open process in putting together a bill that reformed the health insurance system by letting the free market system work rather than further empowering government. And certainly there would have been no talk of using parliamentary trickery—the Slaughter Rule, also known as Deem and Pass—to pass it.

If the Constitution was important to the socialists there would be no provisions mandating that people buy something simply for being American and no need for 14 states to file suit against the Federal government for violating the 10th Amendment.

If the Constitution was important to the socialists Americans wouldn’t be sitting back asking themselves, “What’s next on their agenda: Another stab at amnesty for illegals, another run at cap-and-trade, a gun grab, a value added tax?”

If the Constitution was important the government wouldn’t own General Motors, Chrysler, the financial industry and now, insurance companies.

If the Constitution was important the government wouldn’t be in the business of setting the salaries of everyone from the lowest level employee to the CEOs of large companies.

To be fair, all of this can be laid at the feet of the socialist Republicans who blindly followed George W. Bush’s big government socialism over the economic cliff. They—the socialist Republicans—are claiming an epiphany now and appear to be standing up to the Democrat tyranny. But like all socialist elected elites, when they controlled Congress the socialist Republicans grew government, expanded its power to monitor its citizenry and supported Bush’s nation-building, empire-expanding war policies and his original $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).

Though they—the socialist Republicans—claim to be strict constructionists when it comes to the Constitution now, they helped Bush enact his ridiculous “compassionate conservatism” that increased government entitlement spending and therefore increased the roles of non-producers eager to sponge off the hard work of the producers.

But that’s what you get from the socialist elected elites. They ignore the Constitution because to them the “be all and end all” is government. They like big government and they like bigger government even better.

You can be sure that the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate isn’t going to rest on its laurels. More big government programs are on the way.

And Pelosi is not afraid to kick in a few doors to accomplish it. As she told a group of Leftwing bloggers leading up the passage of Obamacare, “…once we kick through this door there will be more legislation to follow.”

So this is only the beginning of the socialist takeover of America. It’s evidence that sovereignty is in the hands of but a few, just as the writer Brutus warned in Anti-Federalist No. 1: “If the people are to give their assent to the laws, by persons chosen and appointed by them, the manner of the choice and the number chosen, must be such, as to possess, be disposed, and consequently qualified to declare the sentiments of the people; for if they do not know, or are not disposed to speak the sentiments of the people, the people do not govern, but the sovereignty is in a few.”

At the close of the Constitutional Convention a woman asked Benjamin Franklin what type of government had been created. Franklin’s reply: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

We couldn’t.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid approach to health care is against the will of the majority of America, it is being done illegally, and it is unconstitutional.

If you support it, you doom America, and you will doom yourself.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid plan is bad for America and Americans in so many ways that it would take me 2,700 pages to list them all.  But I’ll list a few that are really pissing off your constituents.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid legislation encourages euthanasia by giving doctors a monetary incentive to persuade the elderly during “end-of-life counseling” to sign “Do Not Resuscitate” orders to pull the plug, or deny simple air, food or water.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid legislation fully funds abortions, which 71% of all tax-payers oppose, directly stating on p.110, “ABORTIONS FOR WHICH PUBLIC FUNDING IS ALLOWED,” breaking President Obama’s promise “no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions.”

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid legislation increases government control of private Christian and Catholic hospitals which will endanger freedom of religious expression by doctors and patients, and result in litigation to censor and remove Christian symbols from chapels and common use areas.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid plan imposes homosexual “lifestyle” subsidies, which will grant $1,000+ in annual tax breaks to homosexual “couples,” promoting their lifestyle with taxpayer money, against the wishes of those same taxpayers.  Even worse than that, this legislation promotes child abuse and pedophilia by funding Explicit Sodomy Training Seminars financed by tens of millions of taxpayer dollars, directed at “educating” elementary school students in homosexual sex acts.

If you think you are going to force this evil on my children, you’ll do it over my dead body.

The Obama/Pelosi/Reid plan then penalizes heterosexuals by imposing Marriage Penalties on traditional marriage, crippling many families with over $10,000 per year in new taxes.  Why would you support such things?  Do you hate America and American values?  Do you want to destroy families and ruin the economy?  That is exactly what these measures will accomplish.

These are just a few of the examples of the many rotten eggs in this legislation aimed at government control of health care.  There is nothing in this bill that will reduce COSTS of health care.  PRICE CONTROLS DO NOT LOWER THE COST.  There is nothing in this legislation that will put downward pressure on COSTS.  Rather than spend trillions of dollars on bureaucratic red-tape, please refund that money to the tax-payers, and encourage us to keep or purchase our own private health care insurance, choosing our own doctors and options.

If you ram this down American’s throats, even retirement will not let you hide from the consequences of your actions.  Don’t do it.
