Chinese Spy Arrested with Vials of Biological Material at Boston Airport in December

China is the largest holder of our debt.  China is the largest importer of, well, everything into the United States.  Chinese students occupy a high percentage of research positions for technical fields in our universities.  They are the largest thieves of our intellectual property.  They are stealing their way to parity with us, and then they will try to defeat us.  If we don’t treat them like the enemy they are, they will succeed.

Alleged Chinese Spy Arrested with Vials of Biological Material at Boston Airport in December

Visiting researchers, almost entirely from China, were described by FBI Director Christopher Wray as “nontraditional collectors” of intelligence for the government in China as part of an attempt to “steal their way up the economic ladder at our expense.”…

Trump is right. The Chinese aren’t our friends and we can’t deal with them as such — not when the stakes are so high.

Acting DHS Chief Says All Illegal Border Crossers Being Released | NumbersUSA

It’s time to form a militia to repel illegal border crossers by force, even if we have to fight our own government to do it. As it stands right now, we are no longer a sovereign nation. A nation has borders and controls who comes and goes. We effectively have no border, and we DEFINITELY have no control on who is entering the country. Our government has failed totally at one of the few constitutional duties it actually has, and it expects us to stand idly by and accept (and PAY FOR) the consequences. No more. The federal government must either step up, or step down. No more status quo, and no more politicians empowering and enriching themselves from the status quo.

Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan told a Senate panel on Thursday that all illegal border crossers are currently being released from custody and most receive work permits within a month or two. McAleenan testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee regarding the ongoing border surge that has seen a record number of family units apprehended in just the first half of the current fiscal year.

PROOF: Democrats Hate America and Want to Kill Babies

How can democrats claim that they love America and support Americans when they won’t spend money to defend them?  Even more insulting is the fact that democrats not only won’t spend money to defend Americans, but want to spend large sums of money to kill babies all over the world.

Democrats hate America, and want to kill babies.

Dems refuse to work with Trump on border security, but just attempted to promote abortion overseas

Her priorities are clear

Zach Gibson/Getty Images

House Democrats remain steadfast in their refusal to work with President Donald Trump on border security, insisting not a single taxpayer dollar should be used to fund Trump’s proposed border wall. The brutal fight has led to a partial government shutdown now entering its third week.

However, Democrats displayed willingness last week — in their first piece of proposed legislation as the majority party in the House — to use taxpayer dollars to support a more sinister cause: overseas abortions.

What are the details?

In a bill supposedly meant to end the government stalemate, Democrats included language that would repeal a provision meant to prevent U.S. aid dollars from funding abortion overseas.

The Washington Examiner reported:

The spending bill would repeal a provision instituted by President Trump that requires foreign nongovernmental organizations to certify that they will not “perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning.” The provision, formally known as the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy, was once called the Mexico City Policy, known by critics as the “global gag rule.”

The bill also would increase funding by $5 million for the United Nations Population Fund, to $37.5 million. Anti-abortion organizations oppose the program because they say it participates in coercive abortions and involuntary sterilizations.

Fortunately, because Republicans retained control of the Senate, any highly partisan bill from the House almost certainly faces death in the Senate.

Indeed, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) characterized the Democratic spending bill as “a time-wasting act of political posturing” because Democrats passed it knowing it would not receive the required 60 votes for approval in the Senate.

Additionally, McConnell has said he plans to reject all legislation that does not include money for a border wall.

OUR Military on OUR Border? Yes, we should.

Our military is guarding other nations’ borders all over the world. It’s time we bring much of our military home to guard OUR borders.

Don’t waste you’re breath trying the “Posse Comitatus” argument against using our military on the border. The Posse Comitatus Act was intended to prevent the military from being used as DOMESTIC law enforcement, potentially by a tyrannical government. Putting OUR military on OUR border is defending OUR nation against EXTERNAL threats, which is WHY WE HAVE A MILITARY.

Pilot Shortage: Declaring the USAF a Disaster Area

This entire article is spot on, and I will address a few parts of it, but this part hits especially close to home because I know firsthand that it is already taking place.

“An internal memo obtained by John Q. Public clearly states how bad the crisis has become and seems to point towards the possibility of lowering standards to help solve it. Such a move woud (sic) not only put national security at risk but it also puts other aircrews in danger that have to fly alongside sub-par individuals.”

Pilot training in the Air Force (and military in general) is designed like a Bell curve. Given limited time and resources, the military must have trainees with a minimum level of ability and aptitude who can learn tasks to a specified level of competency within an allotted time. If you fall more than one standard deviation left of the top of the curve as indicated by inability to meet syllabus requirements within the allotted amount of training sorties, you require more time and resources than Air Force can afford to allot to training you, and you have shown that you are not who the Air Force needs to fill their cockpits. It is not a personal reflection on the individual. It is just a reality that must be understood and applied in order for the Air Force to be the most capable it can be in performing its part of the mission of defending America.

But the sad truth is that shortcuts in training have been occurring for a LONG time, specifically to increase the numbers of trainees who make it through the pipeline to fill cockpits, regardless of the quality of that trainee. Why? Several reasons. One of the biggest is pilot training bases that were closed rashly, reducing capacity. None of our political class of Air Force “leaders” will admit that we cut too deeply. When faced with the consequences of those decisions, rather than reversing them, and/or lobbying congress to reverse them, they try to show what stellar leaders they are by burning the candle at both ends to get short term results at the expense of long term security. They increase ops tempo, burning out a shrinking pool of manpower at an increasing rate. The ops tempo wears out airplanes and equipment at a faster rate resulting in declining mission capable rates as we are seeing now. All for performance report “bullets” that make them look good on paper, but ignore reality. As the standard becomes more difficult, or even impossible to achieve because of the declining resources and manpower, the only answer left to bureaucratic “leaders” who will not address the real problems is to simply quietly lower the standards. Again, to make themselves look good in the short term.

Back when we had enough pilot training bases, enough training airplanes, and enough instructors to do the job, large numbers of trainees were brought in, run through the mill, and around 50% were found to be short of the standards and were eliminated. But even with such high attrition, cockpits were filled, and the mission was accomplished with the most capable and qualified pilots available. Did a few rotten apples get through? Sure. There are always a few. However, the standards were much higher, were more thoroughly enforced, and fewer people who didn’t truly meet standards managed to get through. As bases were closed, and the instructor force began shrinking, it became evident that holding trainees to the same standard while getting the same number trained pilots was impossible. So the answer has been over time a steadily lowering bar that must be hurdled to get wings. When the requirement to fly a straight in approach to a “good” level in an early block of training was resulting in too many “hooks,” the syllabus was changed to require only a “fair” on the maneuver. When large numbers of students bust their midphase checkride resulting in several ineffective sorties, check pilots are “leaned on” to have a bigger picture. When IPs, flight commanders, ops officers, and squadron commanders who actually trained a student universally agree that a student being sent to the wing commander for elimination doesn’t have what it takes, and the wing commander keeps re-instating these students, it sends a direct message that the wing commander does not trust is people. It also short circuits what is left of the quality control mechanism in the syllabus.

The article does a very good job of touching on the many issues affecting pilot retention. The bottom line here is that the highly politicized senior “leadership” doesn’t seem to have any idea of what to about it. Instead of shifting focus and resources to retaining experienced pilots, and training new ones to high standards, we see the Air Force being turned into a liberal college campus where the force is being divided into disparate factions. The politically appointed “leadership” is failing miserably at playing an already bad hand dealt them by congress. They have hit rock bottom and continue to dig.

The USAF’s Pilot Shortage Has Reached Disastrous Levels

The Air Force is falling apart.

A shrinking and rapidly aging aircraft fleet. An underperforming, “bet it all” fighter program that is grossly over budget and many years behind schedule. A tactical air plan that will be insolvent in just five years. A culture that is laughably slow at adapting to the unmanned aircraft revolution, and a totally irrational vendetta towards the most effective tactical platform it has to fight ISIS, the A-10 Warthog. These are just a handful of the USAF’s many problems.

Now, you can add a pilot shortage that has quietly escalated to near dire proportions to the top of the list. Continue reading

In Total Reversal, Welsh Admits Air Force is On Verge of Manpower Collapse

A leader cannot lead without the trust and loyalty of those who are being asked to follow him. Such is the case with Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh III. He has come to epitomize the type of “leader” remaining in our military following the Obama purge. Leaders who refuse to do anything other than salute smartly and say “YES, SIR!“, even when the orders being followed are blatantly destroying the nation and Constitution they have sworn to defend. There is no conceivable way Welsh could NOT have known the enormity of the problem we were facing, yet he went ahead with, and even accelerated the mortal wound of a manpower cut. Now, in the face of a tsunami largely of his own creation, he seems to grow a spine and a pair of open eyes. My only question is WHY NOW??? Is this like a deathbed confession? Does he actually possess the character to do the right thing even at the risk of throwing away his career and retirement? Based on what I have seen from the “leaders” groomed for senior positions by the system created and perpetuated by these same people, you can just say I’m skeptical. The usual pattern for these cowards is to sit and twiddle thumbs until they retire, move on to some cushy consulting job, and suddenly develop enough of a conscience to start sniping from the outside where they have little to no effect. I’m sorry, but if our “leaders” aren’t willing to fall on their sword for what is RIGHT while they are still in a position to effect change and INSPIRE FOLLOWERS, they are not the kind of people our military, or our nation need.

In Total Reversal, Welsh Admits Air Force is On Verge of Manpower Collapse

ccc

“Virtually every mission area” faces critical manning shortages, and the Air Force risks burning airmen out. “We’re at 82 to 85 percent manning levels in virtually every mission area,” Welsh said during a discussion Tuesday at the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C. “We can’t reach in someplace and grab more manpower to fix a problem anymore. And so we have got to figure out different ways of using our people in a more efficient way or we will wear them out. And if we lose them, we lose everything.”

Generals Say Troops Understand Need for Pay Cuts

In testimony to Congress last week, military leaders told Congress that military personnel are understanding as to why they must take pay cuts. The officials told Congress that troops are ready and willing to sacrifice their pay.

…Testimony from the military brass took some lawmakers by surprise after troop advocacy groups have rejected the cuts to pay and benefits proposed in the upcoming budget.

Uh, NO. We don’t understand why military personnel who are already underpaid for the amount of hardship and risk they are asked and ordered to endure are now being asked to take it in the shorts YET AGAIN while the money that SHOULD be going to buy military equipment, and pay military personnel and retirees is instead being given to welfare sponges and other political boondoggles being used to buy votes. And, NO, we’re NOT willing to sacrifice even MORE of our pay, endure even older equipment, and sacrifice the security of America so that idiot politicians can keep their cushy jobs by buying votes rather than funding the military as the Constitution calls for.

For these service chiefs to stand there and cheerfully throw the men and women of their respective services under the proverbial bus is disgraceful. These are the ‘yes-men’ we are left with after decades of the military building a system of checking boxes to get promoted rather than displaying real leadership, and after a Marxist president purges any remaining commanders who display any leadership ability whatsoever. America is in trouble, friends.

General Tells Congress Troops Are Willing To Sacrifice Pay

Military.com  |  by Bryant Jordan

Senior Pentagon officials told Congress on Tuesday that troops are willing to sacrifice portions of their pay and benefits if it means keeping and improving the training and equipment needed to do their jobs.

Vice Adm. William F. Moran, chief of naval personnel and deputy chief of naval operations, told lawmakers that sailors he has met with over the past six months have spoken more about “the quality of the service” they’re able to do than anything other topic.

The view was shared by other officials, including Sheryl E. Murray, assistant deputy commandant for manpower and reserve affairs for the Marine Corps.

“I would emphasize our Marines do enjoy a good quality of life. Our Marines love being in the Marine Corps family,” she said. “Most of all, they want the right equipment. … They want to be trained, and they want to be ready. That is the overriding desire.”

Personnel officials from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and the Department of Defense met with the House Armed Services’ Military Personnel subcommittee to talk about cuts to pay and benefits the Pentagon is proposing for its upcoming budget.

These include a smaller pay raise — 1 percent raise, an average 5 percent reduction in housing allowances, and higher health care fees for some retirees.

The proposed budget for next year is $496 billion, reflecting a savings of $176 billion, according to the Pentagon, because of the personnel cuts.

Military leaders say personnel costs make up about a third of their budgets and remain the fasting growing portion. Unless the trend is slowed and reversed, manning costs will eventually make it impossible to meet other funding needs, the military brass has said.

“That’s why we are asking for a 1 percent [troop pay increase] instead of a 2 or higher percentage, so we can slow that growth of a military member’s pay and also be able to bolster their readiness and bolster the modernization,” Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Jessica Wright said.

“The quality of life is good, but the quality of service, we believe, for our military members is lower, and so we would like to balance that,” she said.

Army Deputy Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Howard Bromberg said quality of life is important, but added “we can’t afford to lower the training standards in defense of something else.”

However, the personnel officials who offered testimony before the subcommittee could offer only personal anecdotes to back up their belief that troops would welcome pay and benefit cuts. No survey results were offered. Leaders also said it could not wait for the results of a commission due to issue its report on military pay and benefits next year.  (usually when someone says “we can’t wait,” that means their trying to shove a load of crap down your throat before you gag –G)

Testimony from the military brass took some lawmakers by surprise after troop advocacy groups have rejected the cuts to pay and benefits proposed in the upcoming budget.

Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev., reminded the Pentagon officials that the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission is expected to turn in its review and recommendation a year from now. He cautioned that they are asking to make significant changes in these areas without the benefit of the commission’s findings.

“What happens when they come back in 2015 with a whole host of recommendations?” Heck asked.

Pentagon officials said the military can’t wait a year for the commission’s report followed by another year before any recommendations could be adopted.

“We’ve got to make a near-term savings in the next couple of years. Otherwise, we’re going to dig ourselves into a hole and just not going to be able to get out of it,” Bromberg said.

Veterans’ organizations, which often speak for the services’ rank and file, have opposed many of the proposed cuts.

The veterans groups, including the Association of the U.S. Navy and The American Legion, back a 1.8 percent raise that is tied to the formula worked out by the Employment Cost Index of the Labor Department.

“You want an adequate standard of living” for service members, American Legion National Commander Dan Dellinger said Tuesday night. “That’s important for them and their families.”

Dellinger said service members know the fiscal picture is tight. Army exercises have been scaled back. In the Navy, some ships have stayed at home instead of cruising.

“They’ve taken those concessions,” he said. “I hate to say it, but the government shouldn’t try to balance the budget on the backs of service members. If they took away the entire DoD budget, it still wouldn’t balance the budget.”

Dishonorable Disclosures

Obama and those in the White House and the administration who have been leaking national security secrets are TRAITORS, guilty of betraying American servicemen and women, our intelligence community, and our allies. They have jeopardized the safety of our people, and compromised national security. This has all been done for purely political purposes. The warriors who are defending this nation, who are putting their lives on the line to defend us, are BEGGING you to simply SHUT UP.  When they get tired of dying unnecessarily because you continue to compromise their safety for political reasons, they may not ask so nicely.

Obama Gives Away OUR Security, AND Great Britain’s

Not only did the traitOrOus sOb give away our security with the new START deal, he also gave away the security of our allies without their knowledge or permission. The POS says he’s rebuilding our image around the world. Rebuilding it into what? After two years of this idiot in charge, the rest of the world now sees us a weak, broke, and untrustworthy.  Would you trust someone who just gave away all of your military secrets to one of your worst enemies after insulting your Queen and Prime Minister?  Not likely.

Can we REALLY afford to wait until 2012 to flush this turd?

WikiLeaks cables: US agrees to tell Russia Britain’s nuclear secrets

The US secretly agreed to give the Russians sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent to persuade them to sign a key treaty, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.

Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.

Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.

The fact that the Americans used British nuclear secrets as a bargaining chip also sheds new light on the so-called “special relationship”, which is shown often to be a one-sided affair by US diplomatic communications obtained by the WikiLeaks website.

Details of the behind-the-scenes talks are contained in more than 1,400 US embassy cables published to date by the Telegraph, including almost 800 sent from the London Embassy, which are published online today. The documents also show that:

• America spied on Foreign Office ministers by gathering gossip on their private lives and professional relationships.

• Intelligence-sharing arrangements with the US became strained after the controversy over Binyam Mohamed, the former Guantánamo Bay detainee who sued the Government over his alleged torture.

• David Miliband disowned the Duchess of York by saying she could not “be controlled” after she made an undercover TV documentary.

• Tens of millions of pounds of overseas aid was stolen and spent on plasma televisions and luxury goods by corrupt regimes.

A series of classified messages sent to Washington by US negotiators show how information on Britain’s nuclear capability was crucial to securing Russia’s support for the “New START” deal.

Although the treaty was not supposed to have any impact on Britain, the leaked cables show that Russia used the talks to demand more information about the UK’s Trident missiles, which are manufactured and maintained in the US.

Washington lobbied London in 2009 for permission to supply Moscow with detailed data about the performance of UK missiles. The UK refused, but the US agreed to hand over the serial numbers of Trident missiles it transfers to Britain.

Professor Malcolm Chalmers said: “This appears to be significant because while the UK has announced how many missiles it possesses, there has been no way for the Russians to verify this. Over time, the unique identifiers will provide them with another data point to gauge the size of the British arsenal.”

Duncan Lennox, editor of Jane’s Strategic Weapons Systems, said: “They want to find out whether Britain has more missiles than we say we have, and having the unique identifiers might help them.”

While the US and Russia have long permitted inspections of each other’s nuclear weapons, Britain has sought to maintain some secrecy to compensate for the relatively small size of its arsenal.

William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, last year disclosed that “up to 160” warheads are operational at any one time, but did not confirm the number of missiles.

Sheriff Tells Citizens to Arm Themselves

The one thing the government is constitutionally mandated to do, provide for our national defense, they are failing at miserably. The situation on our border has been brewing for some time, over several administrations. Most recently, George W. Bush was a MISERABLE failure at controlling our borders. Now his successor B. Hussein Obama is failing just as miserably.

Sheriff Arvin West has finally said what sadly has been needing to be said for some time. ARM YOURSELVES. The government is not protecting you, so you must protect yourselves. Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.

Mr. Obama, the American people are looking to you for a solution. But if you don’t provide one, we will provide one ourselves.

Why Does Obama Hate Americans?

The m-O-ssiah once again demonstrates that he hates America.  After being raised at the foot of terrorists (Bill Ayers), communists, and hate-filled “preachers”, he continues to take actions against this country that an American who loves his country would not do.  The murdering terrorists at Gitmo in no way deserve access to our American legal and justice system.  That privilege is reserved for American citizens.  These scum bags were NOT uniformed soldiers (and therefore not due the protections afforded by the Geneva Conventions), were captured on the battlefield combatting and killing American soldiers, and/or plotting terrorist attacks against America.  They SHOULD HAVE been shot on the battlefield.  However, it’s not too late.

Since Uh-Bama’s teleprompter is telling him to release these vermin into America, where exactly do you suppose the teleprompter is telling him to release them?  I can guaran-dog-gone-tee you that he will be the first to play the “not in my back yard” card.  Heaven knows we can’t have undesirables like that living in such close proximity to the m-O-ssiah.  Wherever they are released, they will go to the nearest mosque, become instant rock stars, and begin recruiting muslims for the next wave of jihad against America.

Mr. Obama, since you so obviously hate America, why don’t you leave and go back to Kenya, or Indonesia, or wherever it is you actually came from?  And don’t tell me it was Hawaii until you prove it with something other than a certificate of live birth that only says that you exist.

BREAKING: White House Overrides FBI and DHS on Gitmo Release

Moving quickly to release Chinese Uighur terrorists into the United States, Obama administration officials have — for the second time — overridden objections of federal agencies responsible for national security.

The first time — as I reported on April 20 — the White House overrode the inter-agency panel it created from all the national security agencies to review all the cases of the Guantanamo Bay prisoners.  That panel found that the seventeen Uighurs — members of the East Turkestan Islamic Movement captured at an al-Queda training camp in Pakistan — were too dangerous to release in the United States.

Now — according to a federal agency source who requested anonymity — the White House has also overridden opposition to the release from both the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.

Beginning yesterday and continuing today, Obama administration officials are briefing key members of Congress on the release, which may happen as early as next week.  There apparently has been no decision on where the Uighurs will be turned loose.  Earlier reports suggested they could be released in Alexandria, Virginia or Washington, D.C.
