I’m sorry, Barry. I don’t believe you. EVERY time there has been some sort of scandal within your administration which you could no longer ignore, you have ALWAYS declared how mad you are about it, and PROMISED “not to rest” until you got to the bottom of the scandal. And EVERY time, rather than tirelessly working to get to the bottom of the scandal, you have stonewalled, lied, and gone golfing or fundraising. The simple FACT is, Mr. SoetorObama, that you are a LIAR. You have lied every time there has been an opportunity to tell the truth. You were even awarded the “lie of the year” for you Obamacare deception. The only thing you are mad about over the VA scandal is that YOU. GOT. CAUGHT. Remember your (empty) promises to “reduce backlogs” at VA hospitals and treatment facilities? Well, I guess we now know how you intended to do it. You undoubtedly directed your flunkies to ration care, destroy records, and cancel appointments just to make your numbers look better. And you even claimed that improvements were being made… right up until you got caught. You are a disgrace to America, Barry. And you dishonor the office of President of the United States. You deserve a much worse fate than I could ever bestow upon you.
Obama ‘madder than hell’ over VA treatment allegations
The President is demanding that Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki “continue to fix these things”
WASHINGTON — The White House chief of staff says President Barack Obama is “madder than hell” about reports of treatment delays at veterans’ hospitals across the country.
Top aide Denis McDonough tells CBS’ “Face the Nation” that Obama is demanding that Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki (shin-SEHK’-ee) and others in the administration “continue to fix these things until they’re functioning the way that our veterans believe they should.”
Allegations of preventable deaths that may be linked to delays at the Phoenix VA hospital have triggered an election-year uproar.
On Friday, the top official for veterans’ health care resigned.
House Republicans have set a vote for Wednesday on legislation that would give Shinseki greater power to fire or demote executives and administrators at the agency and its 152 medical centers.
