Sometimes, if you don’t look at all the bad stuff going on around you with a little sense of humor, you start screaming “LA, LA, LA, LA!” and you freak out and shoot 40 people at an Army base.

Government dependence breeds mediocrity. Ford made the right choice by refusing the bailout, and instead chose to address the root cause of their problem by improving how their company was managed. They aren’t perfect, and they still have a union problem, but they are turning a profit WITHOUT GOVERNMENT HELP.
Our country might have a chance [...]

How Obama defines wasteful spending is beyond me. Let me see if I have this straight. Funding new tanker aircraft for the military is wasteful, but spending $3 Billion on a wasteful cash-for-clunkers program that does nothing for the economy isn’t. Buying F-22’s to ensure we have a fighter force capable of defeating anyone threatening [...]

It seems that Russian reporters now have their finger more on the pulse of America than most Americans do. This chap writes an article very accurately describing what has and will happen to America because of our [...]

‘WE’RE OUT OF MONEY’
Sat May 23 2009 10:32:18 ET
In a sobering holiday interview with C-SPAN, President Obama boldly told Americans: “We are out of money.” (Really? You don’t say…)
C-SPAN host Steve Scully broke from a meek Washington press corps with probing questions for the new president. (Probing questions? That would be [...]

Uh-Bama and the Demo-rats are trying to take ALL of our freedoms before enough people wake up. This is an overt power grab, and an obvious shift to communism/socialism. They have already grabbed control of the census so they can shore up their power base. Via a dishonest campaign of fear-mongering, they have spent trillions [...]

FINALLY! SOMEONE showing some spine, and some Republicans showing some character. Before anyone gets mad at the Republicans, remember that Chris Dodd (DEMOCRAT, CT) and treasury secretary “Turbo-Tax-Cheat” Tim Geithner ADMITTED they were the ones who wrote this loophole into the “bailout” law. They lied about it, got caught, and finally had to admit it. [...]

Mr. Eberle does a pretty good job of summing things up here. Obama and the Democrats are LYING about this whole bonus mess to distract us from the larger issues of the bailout, their runaway spending, corruption, and abuse of our constitution. These people MUST GO! They are hastening our departure from [...]

Obama: Enabler of the Irresponsible
Floyd & Mary Beth Brown
In his inaugural address, President Obama heralded the arrival of a “new era of responsibility.” Apparently, this was a slip of the tongue, really meaning an “era of irresponsibility.” By his actions, Obama is pushing irresponsibility by picking winners and losers, punishing those who have worked hard [...]

Don’t Bail Out the UAW (Again)
by Jed Babbin
02/17/2009

It would appear that California’s (pronounced Kah-lee-for-nee-uh) socialist chickens have come home to roost. Governed by a European socialist masquerading as a conservative and calling himself a republican, California has almost spent itself into oblivion.
